Features
Everything you use, without the extras.
Most contractors open a job photo app for one thing: taking and finding photos on the job. Detale does that well and skips the tools you’re already paying for somewhere else.
Included in every Detale plan
- Unlimited users on every plan
- Photos and videos sorted by job and phase
- Markup, comments and tags
- Share links for customers and GCs
- Upload links so subs can add photos without an account
- Punch, tool and material lists, with photos on each item
- Your company name and logo
- iPhone and web apps (Android coming soon)
What we left out on purpose: AI walkthroughs, Google review requests, invoicing and payments. Your CRM already handles estimates and invoices. Why pay for them twice?

Questions
What is the best CompanyCam alternative?

Is Detale cheaper than CompanyCam?
For any team with more than one person, yes. Detale is one flat monthly price with unlimited users. CompanyCam charges for each user.
How much does CompanyCam cost?
As of November 3, 2026, CompanyCam plans start at $79 a month for one user on monthly billing, and each additional user is $34 a month. Check companycam.com for current pricing.
Can my subcontractors upload photos?
Yes. Text a sub the job’s upload link. They take or pick photos in their browser and they land in the right job: no app, no account, no paid seat.
Is there a free trial?
